Ghosts
Ghosts - Are They Real?Whether you believe in ghosts, or don't believe in ghosts, it is probably safe to assume that you at least know somebody who has told you that they have actually seen a ghost. All across America, and the rest of the world's countries, ghosts and hauntings are reported. Sometimes ghosts are heard, sometimes they are seen. Sometimes the person who has the encounter with a ghost accepts it as being reality, while sometimes a person who has an encounter may deny what he or she has just experienced. Ghosts are mentioned in the Bible. God tells us that there is a "great cloud of witnesses" around us. He also tells us that there are spirits all around us. What the world likes to call ghosts, God calls: spirits; familiar spirits; unclean spirits; deceptive spirits; devils and demons; principalities, Nephelim and rulers in high places. Personally, I have always believed in spirits, or "ghosts", because of the detailed descriptions God gives us in the Bible. But I never really believed anyone was actually seeing them, or hearing from them, at least as far as a voice is concerned. I also know that true psychics often receive detailed truths from some unknown realm that most of us know little about. Psychics, palm readers, fortune tellers, etc, get information from somewhere else. Contrary to what some think, it does not come from within themselves. Psychics are human beings, and like everybody, are confined to the flesh, which in turn is confined to the physical laws of nature. In order to get the detailed information they get, they must make contact with someone who is on the other side, someone who lives outside of time and space as we know it. Whether we believe "ghosts" or spirits really exist is somewhat a moot point today, because the evidence is piling up more all the time, especially with today's technologies. Technological advances have made it possible to give concrete evidence to paranormal claims. No longer are paranormal experiences merely personal ones, but our technology is capturing them daily on video tape, voice recorders, thermal cameras, electro magnetic field detectors (emf), motion sensors - and a host of other technologies. But this technological evidence comes as no surprise to many of us. Many of us have known for a long time about these spirits. Many believe because of the personal experiences they've had, many believe because of the technological captures they've seen, and lots of us believe because God has told us in His Word, since the beginning, all about them.
